1. Plan.
Let's say you travel for a week, you have to make a schedule. List down the places that you wanna go. Check the availability and proximity of everything: places, resources, transportation and time. This is just an outline of your trip. If there are changes, you know what you can do next. This will definitely be handy for someone who likes to enjoy every second of your holiday.
2. Budget.
Budgeting is quite a need. It is essential to travel parallel to your estimated expenses. Calculate the assessment on the number of days and the places you'll visit. Take also into consideration the people you are traveling with. You don't want to mess up with your trip because of insufficient money.

3. Enjoy. To enjoy is a cliche for many. Enjoying means being happy in every bit of the trip.Whether it will be little or epic events, misfortunes and whatnot, every piece of the time you spend is included in the travel, cherish all of them. They are all part of the adventure!
It's okay to be scared. It's an opportunity for you to be brave. This picture clearly depicts my fear of the uncertain however I managed to survive.
4. Discover.
Andre Gide says "Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." We can truly know a place if we allow ourselves to get lost and savor everything the place has to offer. If you are in Cebu, explore more of its islands, foodstuff and adventures. Let yourself experience the fun of going out and get into new things.
