BUKIDNON-CAGAYAN DE ORO-ILIGAN TRIP

Dahilayan Adventure Park, Bukidnon, Philippines

Bukidnon is known for its wide landscape and being the fourth largest province in the Philippines. It is located in the Northern Mindanao region. Its capital is Malaybalay City. Coming from Davao City, we traveled 4-5 hours by car.

As we were leaving Davao City, the temperature gradually decreased. We were expecting such coldness because we already knew that passing through Bukidnon would be not so comfortable for people who can't stand cold temperature. Luckily, we managed to travel with the help of our jackets, hoodies and scarves. We captured some pictures on the road like in Seagull Mountain Resort located along Davao-Bukidnon Highway or popularly known as BuDa.

Smile though the temperature's decreasing! :)

We stopped on the road to have breakfast and rest a little bit. We saw a lot of plantations in Bukidnon such as banana, pineapple, corn plantations. You can also find rice fields there.

We finally arrived at Dahilayan Adventure Park. This park offers different amenities and activities for families. You can have sightseeing or also try their different rides. For more information: https://www.dahilayanadventurepark.com/

In our case, we were able to experience Asia's longest dual zipline adventure. They offer different packages and you can request to have a picture too for only P100.00.

You can also try different adventurous activities!

You can also just take pictures anywhere with the breathtaking views behind you.

We arrived in Cagayan de Oro City in the evening. We then stayed at a small hotel near downtown Cagayan de Oro which is convenient for traveling families.

Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, Philippines Hours from Dahilayan Adventure Park, we arrive at the holy place called Divine Mercy. Upon entering the place, you need to follow the dress code. Dress code info: http://divinemercyhills.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Dress-Code.pdf

It is a home of a 50-foot Divine Mercy Statue. It is now becoming a popular pilgrim site in Misamis Oriental, Philippines.

Next stop is the famous Maria Cristina Falls. Going there was a bit long, but after a few naps, we made it and took a lot of pictures there.

To sum it all up, that was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience. Though it was a road trip, it turned out to be an enjoyable experience rather than a tiring one. Choose Philippines!
